WHAT IS OATH WEEK?

The Oath of Inclusion, our University's commitment to diversity and inclusion, speaks of building community, a shared vision, education, and a fostering of compassion and respect for all members of the humanity. Based on these themes, the Student Government Association is organizing and sponsoring a week long series of events and programs, all focused on the Oath. Introducing Oath Week.

Under the theme of "How are you #LivinIt?," Oath Week will highlight how various departments, organizations, offices, and other collaborations live out the tenants of the Oath of Inclusion in their own unique ways. The Oath of Inclusion is a document relative to all members of our University community, and due to its relativity, the intentions of the Oath can be lived out in diverse and wonderful manners. This diversity of expression is what makes the Oath an infinitely relevant document and vision. Through the variety, our community can learn from one another, grow with one another, respect one another, and Live the Oath with each other.

WHAT IS HAPPENING DURING OATH WEEK?

Oath Week is packed with events, programs, presentations, and various other projects - all happening in only four days! Check out the event calendar to see all that is happening during Oath Week this year.

HOW CAN I BE INVOLVED IN OATH WEEK?

Attend and participate! All members of the University community - students, faculty, staff, administration, St. Louis community members - are invited to attend and participate in any of the events. Events will be free and open to anyone.
