Student Government Association
36th General Assembly

We, the Associated Students of Saint Louis University, in order to establish a representative student government; to provide an open forum for dialogue and a voice for student opinions concerning the affairs of the University; to involve students in a productive partnership of shared governance with the faculty, staff, and administration of the University; to promote the welfare and unity of the greater student community; to uphold the ideals and values of the Jesuit Catholic tradition, especially the ideal of "Men and Women for Others;" do hereby ordain and establish this Constitution for the service of the student body and ad majorem Dei gloriam.

SGA is accepting applications for the following senator positions:

• 5 First-Year Senators (freshmen only)
• 1 Reinert Hall Senator (freshmen only)
• 1 Griesedieck Complex Senator (freshmen only)
• 1 Village Apartments Senator
• 1 Grand Forest Apartments Senator
• 1 Commuter Senator
• 1 John Cook School of Business Senator
• 1 College of Public Service Senator
• 1 Transfer Student Senator
• 1 School of Nursing Senator
• 1 School of Medicine Senator
• 1 School of Philosophy and Letters Senator
• 3 Graduate School Senators
• 1 Graduate John Cook School of Business Senator

Position Responsibilities:

The position would require weekly attendance at SGA Senate meetings, Wednesday at 5:00 PM, commitment to 1-3 Committees within SGA or University-Wide Committee appointments and any special initiatives the senator chooses to take on based on feedback from his/her constituencies. Applications are due by August 29th at midnight.
